Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Trainer and Speaker Sereen Abu Mizer participated in a specialized panel discussion titled “Beyond Burnout: Sustaining Execution and Wellbeing,” bringing together a group of professionals to explore the challenges of sustainability in today’s work environments.
The discussion addressed the real pressures faced by those at the heart of execution, particularly founders and managers, as they navigate multiple responsibilities, decision-making, performance expectations, and the search for meaning, while examining the limitations of traditional approaches to resilience and adaptation.
Sereen’s participation highlighted the importance of moving beyond a culture of constant endurance toward more sustainable practices grounded in emotional awareness, clarity, and more human-centered work systems, supporting both individual wellbeing and sustainable performance.
The session also provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue and the exchange of perspectives on the relationship between leadership, wellbeing, and the ability to sustain performance in demanding professional environments.
At the conclusion of the discussion, Sereen Abu Mizer expressed her appreciation to the organizers and fellow panelists for creating such a meaningful space for dialogue, emphasizing that leadership begins when we listen—before we deplete.
