Last week in Muscat, Oman, Sereen Abu Mizer had the privilege of facilitating a three-day Leadership and Emotional Intelligence program for a group of leaders from the Oman Investment Authority, alongside Dr. Yasmine Alblushi.
Over the three days, the program went beyond theoretical concepts, exploring Brain Profiles and Brain Talents and examining how leaders think, make decisions, and respond under pressure. The sessions also highlighted how self-awareness can become a powerful advantage in leading people, making strategic decisions, and navigating challenging situations.
Sereen expressed her appreciation to Dr. Yasmine Alblushi for the trust, strong spirit of partnership, and seamless collaboration, as well as to her team for their valuable contribution throughout the program.
She also extended her gratitude to the leaders of the Oman Investment Authority for their openness, curiosity, and thoughtful engagement. Their willingness to reflect inwardly in order to lead more effectively was an important part of the learning experience.
The three-day journey provided valuable insights into leadership, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and decision-making, with a focus on translating these insights into practical leadership behaviors and everyday workplace practices.
